  22. IBM OS/2 Extended Edition 1.3 is transformed into "Standard Edition 1.3"
  23. by virtue of installing any one of the following IBM products.

  29. Extended Edition Corrective Service (WRxnnnn) no longer applies to these
  30. systems. Standard Edition Service (XRxnnnn) can be used to service the
  31. base operating system functions (Kernel, Presentation Manager, etc.).

  34. SERVICE FOR EXTENDED EDITION 1.3.

  36. WRx5200  Is a cumulative ServicePak that includes all fixes since EE 1.3
  37.          This ServicePak supersedes all previous ServicePaks (CSD's). A 
  38.          problem in Comm Mgr that required a change to the DOSCALLS.DLL 
  39.          has been fixed by APAR JR07074 and is available from L2 and
  40.          will be placed on the BBS's by Boca Developers. All the NLV's
  41.          are available and have the DOSCALLS fix included.

  44. SERVICE FOR STANDARD EDITION 1.3
  45.  
  46. XRx5150  Standard Edition fixes only.  Can cause Comm Mgr problems unless
  47.          the DOSCALLS.DLL fix (mentioned above) is applied. All NLV forms

  54. The Database Services component for DB2/2 and DDCS/2 have been packaged
  55. as SelectPaks.  All supported NLV's (national language versions)

  68.         WR06003, WR06004, WR06014, and WR06015 SelecPaks, plus their
  69.         respective NLV country versions.  All NLV Versions should be
  70.         available by the end of January to the middle of February.

  72. WRx6036 The DBCS country(Japan, and Taiwan)version of WRx6035 plus AT
  73.         Bus support.

  75. WRx6040 The Database Manager DDCS/2 Version 1.0 ServicePak.  NLV's
  76.         should be available the end of February.

  80. SERVICE FOR EXTENDED SERVICES - COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER:

  82. The Communications Manager component of Extended Services 1.0 currently
  83. has SelectPak (PTF = WR06116) on multiple BBSs.

  85. WR06116 Is an enhancement that provides a virtual device driver that
  86.         provides EHLLAPI to Windows applications in OS/2 2.0. The
  87.         package is named EHLSP016 (sometimes EHLLSP16) on various BBBs.

  89. WRx6025 ServicePak will service the Communication Manager portion of
  90.         Extended Services 1.0. The NLV countries should be available
  91.         first quarter 1994.
  92.  
  93. WRx6026 ServicePak is WRx6025 plus additional fixes required for the DBCS
  94.         countries Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.

  98. SERVICE FOR LAN SERVER 2.0
  99.  
  100. IPx6030 Services both Entry and Advanced LAN Server 2.0. It includes
  101.         fixes for LAN Requester and DOS LAN Requester. Installation can
  102.         be done using CID services, although Domain Controllers and
  103.         Additional Servers are probably easier to update from diskette.

  107. SERVICE FOR SYSTEM PERFORMANCE MONITOR/2 (SPM/2)
  108.  
  109. WR06075 Services the SPM/2 2.00 Product.  It includes fixes plus new
  110. enhancements for this product.  It will be availble as a ServicePak
  111. for electronic and diskette orders.  The U.S. version will service all
  112. countries.

  116. SERVICE FOR LAN SERVER 3.0

  118. IPx7001 ServicePak services LS 3.0 Server, Requester, RIPL, User
  119.         Profile Manager(UPM), and Fault Tolerance.

  121. IPx7003 SelectPak services LAN Server 3.0 DOS LAN Requester. 
  122.  
  123. IP07005 This SelectPak will provide some HPFS fixes, plus additional
  124.         for the LAN NetView product. This SelectPak is for users that
  125.         are not using now, or near term, LAN NetView. IP07006 is for
  126.         LAN Netview users and contains IP07005 completely plus some
  127.         additional fixes required for the OS/2 2.0 and 2.1 operating
  128.         systems, and DB2/2. DBCS countries (Japan, Korea, and Taiwan)
  129.         will use the SelectPak, IP07006 will not be available in DBCS
  130.         countries on the PS55CSD Disk.

  132. IP07040 This is a Cumulative ServicePak for LS 3.0 and will pick up
  133.         UPM, LS Requester and Server, NTS/2, plus other fixes.  This
  134.         package is targeted for early Second quarter 94, NLV versions
  135.         will also be available.

  137. IP07041 This is a ServicePak for LS 3.0 DOS LAN Requester (DLR).  This
  138.         ServicePak is targeted for the same time frame as IP07040.  NLV
  139.         versions will be available.

  143. CONVENIENCEPAK FOR LAN NETVIEW(R) USERS
  144.  
  145. IP07006 Is a Convenience Package for users of LAN Netview ...
  146.         Customers ordering LAN NetView will need to install APARs
  147.         on other products as a prerequisite.
  148.  
  149.         The ConveniencePak will include fixes for the OS/2(*) 2.0
  150.         and 2.1 operating systems, LS 3.0, and DB2/2(*) products.

  152.         The ConveniencePak can be acquired by calling 1-800-992-4777
  153.         in the U.S., or by contacting your countries IBM service
  154.         organization for World Trade.  The ConveniencePak will also
  155.         available on several major bulletin boards.

  157. IPx7008 ServicePak for LAN NetView components including Framework
  158.         (Manage & Enable), Monitor, Tie, Fix, and View.  Target for
  159.         this package is late first quarter, or early second quarter.
